USA Today: Why can't Obama admit the surge worked?
First, Obama advocates against the surge, claiming it will do the “opposite” of quelling violence.
Then, the surge quells violence and increases Iraq stability.
To this day, Obama still won’t concede that the surge was successful.
If the surge wasn’t so successful, then we wouldn’t be engaging in bi-partisan talks about withdrawl.
